Maple Family Update December 15th -20th

Maple Family Update December 8th -12th

<h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">Hello Maple Families!</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">We hope you all enjoyed a restful and snow-filled weekend! We are down to our last 10 days of school before our break. </h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">We are really looking out for our students on the yards. Teachers will be speaking with their students consistently about appropriate yard behaviors and expectations, and additional precautions because of the snow!</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">We have lots of great things happening this week at Maple, including </h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">- Piano recitals</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">- Primary Winter Concert</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">- Visit from Queens University Football with the Yates Cup</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">- Winter/Holiday colours Spirit day this Friday!</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">- Basketball Intramurals</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">Have a super week!</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">The Ecole Maple Team</h3> <hr> <h2 class="editor-heading-h2" dir="ltr">Thank you Maple Families for your generous donations of Cheerios and Shreddies.</h2><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">We received more than 275 boxes! Maple Family Update December 1-5

<h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr">Hello Maple Families!</h3>Happy December! We are coming close to our Winter Break, and it looks like winter has arrived!A couple very important announcements:1) Staff Parking LotPlease do NOT park in our staff parking lot or idle for pick up. It is very important for safety reason, especially during the winter season! We will have to deal with slick road conditions and high snowbanks, which means less visibility and slower reaction time around a busy student area. We do have parking along the street, as well as Accessible Parking spots at the front of the school off of Rose Abbey Drive. If you are dropping off or picking up well before or after school for the Y Program or extra-curriculars, you ARE able to access that parking lot.If you have arrangements already made with an educator to meet in the parking lot, please make alternative arrangements, as we want to be very diligent with students safety, and it takes efforts from our entire Maple community to make this happen.Thank you for your support!2) We are currently looking for consistent and emergency staff to help support on the yards and with students in the school. In his memory, École Maple Elementary School will be collecting nut-free breakfast cereals for the Food Sharing Project throughout the month of November. We are hoping to gather yellow boxes of cereal, such as Cheerios or Shreddies. The Food Sharing Project is an organization that provides free nutritious food programs (breakfasts and snacks) for all publicly-funded schools in KFL&A, including École Maple Elementary School. Our school alone benefits from approximately $20,000 worth of food from the program.</h3><h3 class="editor-heading-h3" dir="ltr" style="text-align: start;">The school community has the opportunity to purchase a few different holiday themed live plants. You have the option of purchasing a Cupressus Grinch Tree in a 5" pot, or a Lavender Cone Shaped Tree in a 6" Pot. Maple Family Update October 20th to 24th

Maple Family Update October 14th to 17th

Hello Maple Families, We hope you are all having a restful and relaxing weekend with family and friends! Maple Family Update October 6th to 10th
