Maple Majors celebrated the end of our 2025 Terry Fox campaign with a fun filled assembly on Tuesday, October 21st. Reid and Ben from 98.3 FLY FM joined us to celebrate and hold staff accountable to the promises that were made in September when our campaign kicked off. Mrs. John cut off her gorgeous hair, many staff received pies in the face and Mr. Derbyshire and Mrs. Aikens participated in a dance off with the radio DJs. Unfortunately they were out danced even though they came dressed in their best dancing attire. Mrs. Curry-Sharples made good on her promises, receiving a fabulous and colourful hair dye and then puckering up for a slobbery and hairy kiss from the visiting goats! What an unforgettable assembly! Thank you to all students, staff, families and friends in our Maple community for donating and raising awareness for cancer research. Terry Fox would be proud!
