Hello Maple Families,

We hope this message finds you well!

We are looking forward to another fantastic week here at Maple with all of our Majors! Hallowe'en is already only 2 weeks away. This year, we will be celebrating with a school-wide Black and Orange Day on Friday, October 31st!

Congrats to all of our athletes who participated in the Fort Henry Cross Country race last week, and a big shout of to those athletes who qualified for the next round happening this coming week! Way to go Majors!

We also have our intramurals and clubs starting up here at Maple, with Handwork club, Soccer, and Basketball. Always great things happening here!

A Message From LDSB - Human Development and Sexual Health Instruction

As part of LDSB's commitment to ongoing transparency and communication with families, please follow the link to Form 325-D on the LDSB website. It outlines the Human Development and Sexual Health curriculum expectations for Grades 1-8. Families can request to have their child or children exempted from instruction related to Human Development and Sexual Health expectations by completing and returning an exemption form for each child (Form 325-B) five school days before the start of instruction. Prior to instruction, your child's classroom teacher will inform parents/guardians when the expectations related to the Human Development and Sexual Health expectations in Strand D will be covered.
