Hello Maple Families!

We are looking forward to another fantastic week here at Ecole Maple! Please review the following information below to get caught up on all the amazing things happening here!

The Ecole Maple Team

WInter Ready

During the winter,  Tri-Board utilizes professional weather monitoring & forecasting services and works closely with our school bus companies to determine if it is safe to offer school bus transportation on inclement weather days.

A bus is cancelled in a weather zone if it serves a school or has a bus stop located in the weather zone. Buses may be cancelled in other zones based on local conditions.

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

For a complete list of bus cancellations and delays visit: https://triboard.mybusplanner.ca/Alerts

You can find out more about weather related cancellations at: https://triboard.ca/snowdays/

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT STAFF PARKING LOT

This is a very important message to all of our community members. The large parking lot at the back of the school is intended for staff only. Please refrain from parking in these spaces, or pulling into the parking lot at all for pick-ups.

Parking here or pulling into the bus lane poses potential danger and accidents, especially during times where buses are being unloaded or loaded.

We are asking all community members to park on the road, or find a side street to park your car while you come pick up your students. Thank you!

November is Cereal Month

thumbnail imageOnce again, this year we are honoring Brady Faroldi, an spiring teacher from Kingston, who passed away due to an unknown cardiac issue. In his memory, École Maple Elementary School will be collecting nut-free breakfast cereals for the Food Sharing Project throughout the month of November. We are hoping to gather yellow boxes of cereal, such as Cheerios or Shreddies. Last year we also started to  collect Cheerios to keep in our school - so everyone at Maple always learns with a full belly!
