April Is The Month Of The Military Child
Like dandelions military children bloom wherever they land.
Join us for the Spring Dance May 8th!
Wednesday, April 29 will be our final Knitting Club date. If you have a student who has needles and yarn and plans to continue to use those items through the summer, great! If, however, your knitter doesn’t have any further need for their materials, please return them to the school so we can cycle them back into next year’s projects.
Knitting Club organizers would like to extend a huge Thank You! to:
· our volunteers: Ms. Diane was a steady, gentle presence the whole year through
· student mentors: This year’s club went so much more smoothly because last year’s knitters were so willing to act as patient mentors to this year’s new knitters
· School Advisory Council whose generous contribution allowed us to purchase enough needles to set up 80 new knitters in the fall!
· those of you who sent donations of yarn, notions, and books: We appreciate your donations very much and, aside from the purchase of needles, have been able to provide yarn for projects solely through your generosity!
When Knitting Club returns for 26/27, students can look forward to focused projects that will help them further develop their knitting skills and repertoire.
Is there a parent, grandparent, or friend out there who would like to volunteer with us next year? If you can knit, purl, or crochet a stitch, we could use your help! Please contact the office to provide a CPIC (Vulnerable Sector Check) and reach out to Maggie Bailey (baileyma@limestone.on.ca).

As we come closer to the end of our school year and are looking to plan for the 2026-27 school year, we kindly ask that families complete the form below if you are moving your child(ren) to another school. This includes current grade 6 students moving on to Intermediate school.
